Depression and Anxiety
Treatment in Helena, Montana

On the other side of the fog...there is HOPE.

Anxiety and depression can steal your joy and your energy like nothing else. It's like waking up to a dark, cloudy day... every day.

People with these issues are often told to "cheer up" or "stop worrying," or just "snap out of it." Nothing could feel more out of reach. Many who struggle with these issues feel guilty because they have great lives, but just can't feel good.

This isn't your fault, and you don't have to struggle alone. These issues are highly treatable with proven therapeutic techniques.
How are you Feeling?
Take a free, anonymous screening to assess if you or a family member might need help. This is a tool, not a diagnosis. Mount Helena Counseling does not see the results of this screening.
Kyrie Russ, LCPC and Anna Rolando, LCSW are experienced in helping with these common emotional health concerns.
Depression
  • Feel down, sad, or numb more days than not
  • Lack of interest or pleasure in things you used to enjoy
  • Fatigue and loss of energy
  • Changes in sleep (insomnia or sleeping too much)
  • Change in appetite (too much or not enough appetite)
  • Trouble concentrating or thinking clearly
  • Feeling guilty or worthless
  • Thoughts of death or suicide
If you have several of these symptoms and they aren't going away, you may have depression.
Anxiety
  • Feeling restless or on edge
  • Racing thoughts and difficulty concentrating
  • Muscle tension and other physical complaints
  • Constant worry
  • Difficulty sleeping
  • Feeling irritable and fatigued
  • Extreme fear in social or performance settings, such as being in a crowd, going to a party, or speaking in public
  • Phobias about specific things (i.e. animals, elevators, flying on planes, etc.)
  • Avoiding anxiety triggers (which then prevents full participation in life)
  • Panic attacks
If you have several of these symptoms more days than not, then you may have a type of anxiety disorder.
Depression and anxiety are treatable! We use evidenced-based approaches, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
